Shakti Pumps Bags ₹1,037 Crore Order from MSEDCL for 34,720 Solar Pumps

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has announced the receipt of a major order worth ₹1,037 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The order involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of 34,720 solar pumps under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana and PM KUSUM B scheme.

This contract is expected to significantly strengthen Shakti Pumps’ order book and reinforce its position in the solar-powered irrigation solutions market. The project aligns with the government’s push towards renewable energy adoption in agriculture, aiming to reduce farmers’ dependency on conventional electricity and promote sustainable farming practices.

With this deal, Shakti Pumps continues its momentum in securing large-scale renewable energy projects, further boosting its market share in the solar pump segment.
